Offaly Councillor Sees "Great Potential" For Village

Local councillor Claire Murray says lots is being done to develop housing and jobs in Rhode.

A Fianna Fail Councillor says there is "great potential" in an Offaly village.

A five year plan is being set out for the Rhode area in North Offaly, with housing and jobs creation top of the agenda.

This also comes as Lumcloon Energy is set to construct two energy storage domes on the site of the former peat-fired power station in Rhode.
