Offaly Councillor Wants To Turn A Vacant Tesco Property Into Housing For The Elderly

An Offaly councillor is calling for support to turn a vacant Tesco property into housing for the elderly. 

Edenderry's Fine Gael rep Noel Cribben is calling people to attend a public meeting tomorrow evening where the plans will be discussed. 

The site comprises of 28 acres in total - in which he would like to build 25 houses and a hotel to help boost local tourism. 

Councillor Cribben says his plan will benefit both older residents and Offaly County Council:
