Offaly County Council Calls For Vape Ban In Submission To Public Consultation

Submissions can be made to the government's consultation until next month.

Offaly County Council is calling on the government to ban disposable vapes.

The local authority is the first to make a submission to a public consultation, which will inform Ireland’s policy response to dealing with the devices.

It follows a motion put forward by Green Party Councillor Mark Hackett at a recent meeting of the County Council.

Submissions can be made to the public consultation until August 24th, and he's encouraging everyone to get involved:
