Offaly County Council will be making a submission to An Bord Pleanála in relation to a proposed windfarm in Leamonaghan Bog.

However, locals claim the project will damage a nearby monastic site.
Independent councillor Seán O'Brien says Fianna Fáil are to blame for voting to designate the site for wind energy.
But Fianna Fáil's Eamon Dooley says it's not as simple as that and the council will try to stop the project going ahead:
