Offaly County Council Rejects Plans For Biogas Facility

The development faced considerable local opposition.

Plans for a new biogas facility have been rejected by Offaly County Council.

Strategic Power Limited had applied to build the anerobic digester on a two hectare site in Ballyduff, Tullamore. 

The development had faced considerable opposition from the local community, with concerns over its proximity to residential areas, potential odours from the plant, and an increase in traffic.
