It's unknown yet whether the Just Transition commissioner will accept.
Offaly County Council is fed up hearing about imaginary jobs for those affected by decarbonisation.
That's the view of Fianna Fáil councillor Eamon Dooley, who says a lack of clarity on the Just Transition is causing continued frustration.
The local authority is inviting the Transition Commissioner Kieran Mulvey to a special meeting next Monday, to discuss how government funding is being distributed.
