A new TV documentary is set to air featuring a retired Offaly farmer who was a victim of the Lucky Dip Crime Gang.
The Virgin Media production will focus the opportunistic form of offending in which groups of youths set out without a predetermined target, breaking into homes, businesses and vehicles and stealing whatever is available.
The programme also examines the M9 head-on collision last month that claimed the lives of five teenagers and left a midlands family of four with serious injuries.
