An Offaly girl is thrilled after having the opportunity to lead the Swiss team into the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Qatar for their World Cup game against Cameroon.
Eight year old Aoibh Kearney walked out onto the pitch with captain, Granit Xhaka.
Her brother Finn also had his fifteen minutes of fame this week, when an image of him wearing an Offaly jersey went viral after he was shown on screen at the Belgium v Canada earlier this week.
The family has been living in Doha since 2019.
