James McKelvey wants all those suffering through addiction to reach out for help.
A midlands man who was addicted to drugs and alcohol turned his life around by writing music during recovery.
James McKelvey from Shinrone, says you should live the day and don't worry about tomorrow.
The addiction started when he started drinking in pubs in 2014 when he was 16 and took drugs for the first time in 2016 leading to heavier use over the years.
Mr. McKelvey says you should always reach out when you need help:
You can access the HSE Drug and Alcohol Helpline here, or by free-phoning: 1800 459 459
