The winner will be announced tonight.

We have to lift each other up, that's the message from the Offaly Rose after night one of the Rose of Tralee.

Kinnitty's Allie Leahy was telling co-host Kathryn Thomas about her struggles with bullying in secondary school.

The midlands rose now helps under-age camogie players in the Offaly seeking to offer the players emotional support.

Allie says she couldn't help young people today if she didn't endure her own struggle:

Laois Rose Sinead Dowd was the last on stage in Kerry on Monday night.

The Cullohill woman spoke of her New York background and her time working in rural Ireland and says she has plans to go travelling:

Canadian Rose, Aoife McDonald hails from Ottawa, but has strong links to the midlands with her father being from Portarlington. She will take to the stage this evening along with Longford Grace Kemple.
