An Offaly secondary school is starting a robotics competition for primary school children with special needs.
Fifth year students at Killina Presentation Secondary School won Kinias's Robotics Project Of the Year award for their robot on the issue.
The team was led by fifth year student Aaron Bell, with Alisha Colsh responsible for the build.
Offaly County Council is assisting with the event, and is set to take place at the end of August.
