Demand is high as rainfall levels have been low.
People in an Offaly village are being urged to conserve water to allow supply to catch up with demand for the area.
Bushertown in Moneygall is facing low water pressure due to high demand and low rainfall levels.
Uisce Eireann have also detected a number of large leaks in the area and will monitor the situation over the next few days.
Advice being given is for people to fix any small leaks they have and to reduce the amount of time spent in the shower.
Uisce Éireann’s, James Joyce says "Any reduction that customers can make in their usage can collectively result in significant supply improvements for all customers."
