Offaly Woman Appealing For Nursing Homes To Lift Visitor Restrictions

Nursing Homes Ireland believes the measures to prevent the spread of COVID 19 are responsible

An Offaly woman is appealing for Nursing homes to lift the visitor restrictions. 

The woman, who wishes to reamin anonymous, says her husband, who is in a nursing home after being paralysed from a stroke, gets confused and doesn't understand why she's not coming in. 

Nursing Homes Ireland believes the measures to prevent the spread of COVID 19 are responsible, however Chief Medical Officer Tony Holohan says there's no need for the restrictions.

She says she has two children with special needs and they don't understand why they can't see their dad:
