An out of use courthouse in Offaly looks likely to be converted into an arts hub.
The project on the Birr Courthouse is a part of Birr's 2020 vision, and has been in motion for the past 10 years.
The proposal is going forward for planning permission, with three artist facilitation days organised later in the year for advice from the public on what should be included.
