One final push - that's the message from SOSAD'S office in Laois as they appeal for emergency funds from the public to keep them going.
The national health charity, which has an office in Portlaoise, is facing significant funding issues and has already suspended its 24 hour free texting service due to a lack of funds.
That's despite a 74 per cent increase in counselling sessions this year alone.
Funding from the HSE has been requested, but even if approved, the charity will need around 42,000 euro to cover this month's expenses.
