She's spent the last seven weeks in hospital.
An online fundraiser for a Laois woman in need of a heart transplant has collected over €4,000.
Denise Geoghegan has spent the last seven weeks in both Portlaoise and the Mater Hospitals after test results showed her heart function is as low as 10%.
Her symptoms included a shortness of breath as well as swelling around her feet, legs, stomach and face.
The money raised will be used to help with travel and other expenses for her husband.
