The services coordinator for the association in Laois believes online voting would be a positive move.
An online voting system could be hugely beneficial to people living with a disability.
That's according to the Irish Wheelchair Association, as concerns are being raised about inaccessibility in polling stations being a barrier to people casting their vote in the upcoming election.
IWA services coordinator in Portlaoise, Sylvia Rouget says general accessibility issues in towns can mean people with disabilities are unable to vote.
