13-year-old Gareth Barr was expecting to start his secondary school journey on Monday, but has been told his additional needs class in Athlone Community College won't be ready until after next year.
A class housed in the school's main building was due to move to a prefab, so the additional needs class can be within the school, but a delay in delivering the prefab has help up plans.
