
The Irish Rural Link CEO says the sytem is overstretched.
The National Meals on Wheels Network faces a 'dire situation' unless increased ring fenced funding is provided in the next budget.
That's the view of Irish Rural Link CEO, Ballycumber's Seamus Boland, as the group submits its pre-Budget submission.
The network is also calling for the funds in order to retain staff and in order to work with ETB'S to provide training for staff and volunteers.
