Midlands Projects Receiving €2m In Final Round Of LEADER Funding

The money will support areas in enterprise development, climate change and the circular economy.

The midlands is receiving just over €2 million from the final allocation of LEADER funding for 2021 and '22.

€20 million is being allocated to 29 Local Action Groups across the country, as part of the full €70 million fund announced back in April.

The money will go towards rural communities to help develop projects in areas like enterprise development, climate change and the circular economy.

Laois will receive almost €650,000, Westmeath is being allocated €670,000, while Offaly is getting €730,000.
