The development has been given approval by the local authority.
Permission has been granted on a major housing development in Westmeath.
245 residential units have been approved and will be coming to Mullingar.
The development along the Dublin road in Petitswood Townland will include 132 three-bed homes, and 70 four-bed homes.
The remaining accommodation will be made up of a mix of duplex units, three-storey corner units, and a four-storey apartment block.
The plans will also feature a two-storey childcare facility.
Parking spaces for both vehicles and bikes will be provided with other associated site works such as a communal open space, roads, footpaths and cyles lanes.
Permission was granted by Westmeath County Council subject to 27 conditions.
