20 kilograms of herbal cannabis and over 250 packets of edible jellies were seized.
Over €400,000 worth of drugs have been seized by Revenue officers.
17 kilograms of herbal cannabis was seized during the course of the operation in Kildare - that's worth around €340,000.
A further three kilograms of cannabis, worth around €60,000, and over 250 packets of edible jellies, worth €13,600, were also seized during the search of an industrial premises in Athy.
A man in his 40s was arrested and charged, and is due to appear before Dublin District Court this morning.
This operation was conducted by Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Kildare Divisional Drugs Unit.
This operation was part of Revenue’s ongoing joint investigations targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
