9 in 10 people believe they could secure job in three months or less.
More than half of employees in the region expect a pay rise in the next 12 months, and 6 in 10 believe their salary reflects their current position.
Fears of losing a job have plummeted in the region, down to 37%, from 63% last year.
Nationally, three out of five people believe there will be more job opportunities for them this year.
That's the finding of a new FRS Recruitment survey, which reveals seven out of 10 say the lack of salary information on a job has put them off applying for a job.
71% of employees are also expecting a pay rise this year and only 38% fear for their employment.
