Ireland's youngest qualified pilot passed her practical test on her 17th birthday this week.
TY student Muireann Bagley told the Herald "it feels unreal" and that she's been working towards it since she was 11.
She passed her Private Pilots License exam in Meath after completing nine written tests beforehand.
Her mother is a pilot for Aer Lingus and her dad is a pilot for Virgin.
