A petition calling on the Transport Minister to intervene and restore the Bus Éireann Expressway service between Galway and Dublin is gaining momentum.
The 20-X20 route ceased operation yesterday meaning there's no public service running to either destination, through towns like Athlone, Moate, Kilbeggan and Kinnegad.
Sinn Féin has set up the petition, calling for urgent action to reverse the decision.
