De Bhal Construction Ltd has received approval to build 30 houses at the Rahin Towers estate in Ballylinan.
The development comprises of 30 residential units, consisting of 12 two-storey, four-bedroom semi-detached houses, six two-storey, three-bedroom semi-detached houses and six two-storey, two-bedroom houses.
There will also be two two-storey, three-bedroom semi-detached houses, and four one-bedroom duplex units.
Laois County Council granted approval subject to 19 conditions.
