The proposed development is set for Portarlington.
Plans have been lodged for a 74 home residential development beside the former Avon factory site in Laois.
The proposal by Limitlane Ltd includes a mix of three, four and five-bedroom houses, along with two apartment blocks containing 28 one, two and three bedroom units on Canal Road in Portarlington.
The 2.33 hectare development is planned in three phases and will feature new roads, cycleways, footpaths, parking, public open spaces and landscaping.
A decision is due on August 13th.
