The President of Ireland is wishing the farmers every success as they continue to protest outside process plants over the beef dispute.
Speaking at the National Ploughing Match Michael D Higgins says the advantage of the festival is that people will be better informed adding that knowing more allows for better decisions.
During the opening of the national event, the President stated that farmers are entitled to their fair share.
He also had this advice to farmers:
