Rate Of Increase In House Prices Continues To Slow

There was no change in the midlands figures.

The rate at which house prices are increasing slowed again in the 12 months to June.

The Residential Property Price Index increased by 2.2%.

That's down from a rate of 2.6% in the year to May.

There has been no change in the median house price in the midlands. Westmeath remains at €240,000 euro, Offaly at €230,000 and Laois at €235,000.

Prices declined in Dublin by just under 1%, while they went up by 4.5% outside the capital.
