Remote Working Would Bring A Significant Boost To The Midlands

The LOETB are launching a training programme to help people learnt to do so effectively.

A new training programme is available in the midlands for those interested in working from home.

The Laois Offaly Education and Training Board is setting up a 26-week traineeship to allow employees of companies based outside the midlands, to remain in the region.

The course includes class-based learning, remote learning using digital tools, and a work placement.

Manager at the LOETB, Padraig Boland, feels remote working will bring a significant boost to the region, by open up jobs to people living in ruual areas:
