Retailers Urged Not To Take Advantage Of Consumers During Coronavirus Outbreak

A Westmeath TD says we shouldn't be profiting off people's fears and anxieties.

A Longford-Westmeath TD is appealing to retailers not to use the coronavirus crisis to take advantage of customers.

A number of items such hand sanitiser and disinfectant are in high-demand, and Fianna Fáil's Robert Troy says that some retailers and pharmacies have already increased prices as a result.

Deputy Troy is asking shop owners and other business people to not exploit this emergency for their profit:
