A Bill that gives the Minister power to direct a school to open a special class has just been passed.

Schools will have to provide special classes for children with special educational needs from September.

A Bill that will allow the Minister to direct a school to open a special class has just been passed in the Dáil.

The National Council for Special Education has raised concerns there are insufficient schools places here.
