Gardaí are carrying out searches in Laois, in connection to the disappearance of William Delaney.
He was 56 when last seen in Portlaoise on January 31st 2019.
A search took place in Portarlington today.
It follows unsuccessful searches at the Rock of Dunamaise and in Monasterevin in 2019.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact gardaí.
