The future of the emergency department remains in the balance.
Sinn Fein TDs in Co Meath have slammed a review of Our Lady's Hospital, Navan, which is currently being carried out by the HSE.
Johnny Quirke and Darren O'Rourke have raised issues around the terms of reference in the review, which they say makes no reference to enhancing or "even protecting existing services at Navan Hospital".
The HSE team, which was put together at the request of the Health Minister, is reviewing the capacity levels in the hospital, as the future of the emergency department remains in the balance.
