Social Democrats Looking To Push Through Flood Relief Plan

The project in Portarlington is due to get underway in 2023.

A Social Democrat believes it's taken far too long to implement a flood relief plan in Portarlington.

The OPW are currently looking for contractors for the project which is due to begin in 2023.

Linda Hayden says more government lobbying is required to make sure it goes ahead as planned and that it's people in the town that are suffering as a result of in-action.

The Kildare/South Candidate says she wants to ensure delays like this don't happen in the future:
