Gardaí are investigating the attempted robbery of a business in Westmeath.
A man entered the premises on Castle Street in Mullingar at approximately 7.10 last Friday evening.
He threatened staff with a knife - however, no money was handed over and the man soon fled the scene.
No arrests have yet been made.
