The future of the out-of-hour GP services in the midlands has been up in the air since the MIDOC group ceased trading in December.

The Taoiseach has promised to raise the future of MIDOC out-of-hours GP services in the midlands with the Health Minister.

The future of the service has been up in the air since the group ceased trading at the end of last year.

Since then, out-of-hour systems have been running on a week-to-week basis, without a guarantee it will continue.
