Bidders have until Friday week to declare their interest.
A €120,000 expansion of public WI-FI in Westmeath will move a step closer next week.
The six week tender process is due to end on Friday February 5th, with the preferred bidder to be selected one month later.
Once completed it will bring free connectivity to 35 outdoor and 9 indoor hubs across the county.
Areas set to benefit include Athlone, Mullingar, Castlepollard, Delvin, Kinnegad, Rochfortbridge and Killucan.
