The Grinch has been arrested by Gardaí in Laois.
The grump who stole Christmas was spotted by officers in Rathdowney while trying to stop the turning on of the Christmas lights in the town.
Gardaí say he was also attempting to prevent Santa from spreading Christmas cheer.
He's since been taken into custody and is no longer able to ruin the festivities for everyone.
Gardaí are also thanking Honorary Garda Harry Hoare for switching on the lights.
