Over 80,000 euro is being granted to three midlands charities under the Covid-19 Stability Funding programme.
€35,000 is going to Youth Work Ireland Laois, €34,000 to Temporary Emergency Accommodation Mullingar, and €11,000 to Mullingar-based counselling service, Good2Talk.
This comes under the second tranche of the government's funding programme, intended to support community groups that have had their opportunities to fundraise slashed due to covid-19.
