Time For Action "Before Someone Else" Is Killed On Dangerous Midlands Road

Locals want something to be done about speeding in the village.

There are calls for action at a notoriously dangerous road in Westmeath.

Fine Gael councillor John Dolan says locals in Ballykeeran are anxious something is done to address speeding through the village.

Councillor Dolan is urging Transport Infrastructure Ireland to engage with residents and the county council to find a solution to prevent any more serious accidents.

He says signage is clearly not enough:
