The Technological University of the Shannon work will develop extended reality to enhance remote working.

A new €9 million virtual reality project is set to begin at the Technological University of the Shannon.

Transmixr aims allow the arts and media sector to enhance remote working by using "extended reality".

The programme will develop and evaluate four specific pilots for news media, broadcasting, performing arts, and cultural heritage.
