Two Offaly Women Close To Coronavirus Outbreak In Tenerife

A hotel has been put into quarantine.

A hotel in Tenerife has been put into quarantine after an Italian doctor, who visited the building, tested positive for coronavirus. 

The 'H10 Costa Adeje Palace' has asked one thousand guests to stay in their rooms - and two Offaly women are also staying in a nearby hotel.

A number of towns in Northern Italy are on lock down after seven people died from the virus. 

Ireland's National Public Health Emergency Team will meet this afternoon to advance preparation for a case being confirmed in Ireland.

Leyla Bicer is in a quarantined area in Italy, she says there's a lack of specific advice from authorities. 

Speaking in Athlone, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar says all preparations are being made if a case is discovered in Ireland:
