People in Westmeath are facing a loss of water supply on the hottest day of the year today.
Uisce Eireann is set to carry out improvement works in Moate and are warning there could be reductions in water pressure until 5 pm this evening.
The semi-state body says the works were scheduled after crews carryied out surveys of the local network.
It's also warning of future works being carried out in the coming weeks.
It comes after people in Moate have been hit with a series of supply interruptions in recent weeks.
Uisce Eireann is apologising for any inconvenience caused.
