Warning To Stay Safe As Things Get Spooky Tonight

Fire and rescue services in the midlands are urging everyone celebrating Halloween to be careful.

Fire and rescue services in the Midlands are urging people attending firework displays and bonfires tonight to be aware of the dangers around them.

Westmeath Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officer Pat Hunt is also advising that young children be accompanied by an adult when trick or treating.

The local authority is asking drivers to slow down, stay alert and take extra care to look for children at junctions and along roadways tonight.
