Westmeath Company Plans To Combat Carbon Footprint With 1 Million Bees

Mr. Crumb is hoping to create a buzz in the county.

A business in Westmeath is hoping to create a buzz in the Lake County with a new initiative to combat its carbon footprint. 

Mr. Crumb in Finnea is planning to introduce one million bees into the local eco-system in the next three years - beginning with two hives of 80 thousand bees each.  

They have previously planted 22,000 trees and bought up acres of bogland in similar projects.
