Westmeath County Council is approving planning permission for over 70 new homes in the county.
Applicants Lacken Ventures Ltd is seeking to build the development in Mullingar's Charlestown, and lodged the application in November.
It would consist of 43 three bed and 15 four bed houses, 6 single bed and 10 two bed apartments, alongside a community amenity space and an open space including a childrens play area.
