Rory Hafford is expressing his concerns with the current passport renewal system.

A Westmeath man has tried to apply to renew his passport but his picture has been rejected twenty times.

Rory Hafford is facing difficulty to get to the UK as the passport system is proving flawed.

He spoke with customer service in the passport office and they told him they could provide no help.

Although his passport has until the end of April - some airlines require the document to have three months left to fly.

Mr Hafford says he's utterly frustrated with the system as he followed all rules and regulations:
