Westmeath Man Goes Year Without Beer For Concussion Awareness

Gary Burke is aiming to raise some vital funds in the process.

A Westmeath man is going a year without alcohol to raise awareness of the effects of post concussion syndrome. 

Gary Burke suffers from symptoms such as headaches and dizziness since incurring the injury during a rugby match two years ago. 

He's created a GoFundMe page, aiming to raise €2,000 to donate to the Irish concussion and research centre.
