Kyle Geoghegan's funeral took place on Saturday.
A hard-working man who was loved by all - that's how Westmeath's Kyle Geoghegan is being remembered after his funeral this weekend.
His body was recovered from Lough Ennell last week, with the local community and beyond gathering on Saturday in St Michael's Church in Castletown Geoghegan to lay him to rest:
Father Robert McCabe addressed the parish and those who had gathered far and wide on Saturday afternoon, thanking them for their support for Kyle's family and closest friends.
Mr Geoghegan had been reported missing on Lough Ennell on September 20th, prompting an extensive search with volunteers from all over the country, before his body was eventually recovered last week.
Father McCabe spoke of Liliput Adventure Centre opening its doors to volunteers all over the country:
He also spoke of Kyle as a "lovable rogue" with a strong work ethic:
Kyle was laid to rest following Saturday's mass in the adjoining cemetery.
